What a pulsating match it was! At the start of the game I never gave much chance for Liverpool making it but they really dug deep and pull through. One can argue that Liverpool had better rested players but to me, their hunger to win can be seen vividly as compared to Chelsea. The final score was 1-0 to Liverpool after extra time but they won it via penalties 4-1 which makes Reina the new hero of Liverpool.

Now they march on to Athens to meet either M.United or AC Milan next and it would be great to see both English teams making it to the final which is very possible since MU does have an advantage over AC Milan.

As for Chelsea, the quadruple dreams this season is over but they still have a chance of bagging 3 titles if they can win the remaining premier league and FA Cup titles.
