Its amazing to hear Chris Sligh confessing to wanting to leave the competition prior to his elimination last week. According to the curly haired guy from South Carolina, he only wanted to make it to the Top 10 in order to participate in the American Idol Summer Tour and NOT I quote "winning it"!

This similar reason have been given by Mario Vazquez on Season 4 as well but he decided to leave right when he made it to the Top 12. I guess getting tied down to the marketing company is a big deciding factor to these two gentlemen and that in itself says a lot about the competition. I wonder what Kelly Clarkson have to say about all this?
