First week at the main stage and quite a few nervous breakdown with 3 contestants forgetting their lyrics. The night belonged to Lakisha and Melinda once again as they are surely miles ahead of the rest with the exception of perhaps Stephanie. For me the very best performance this week goes to Lakisha which I think she picked the perfect song.


As for the guys, it was a disaster especially with Brandon's disastrous performance, Chris Sligh's wierd song arrangement and as always Sanjaya's uninspiring performance.


I am just worried that this year's contest is becoming very predictable and everyone is just tuning in only to watch how the 3 divas perform week after week.
